Retrofitting heating is a massive subject

There are 22 million homes that will need retrofitting for heating over the next few years to reduce carbon emissions and provide cheaper heating.

Gas prices are too expensive for people to heat their homes and with gas boilers being phased out in 2025 there is an urgent need to move to a heat with zero carbon and low heating bills.

Heat pumps are not the alternative to gas as they are expensive to buy at around £10K for an air source heat pump and up to £35K for a ground source heat pump. They are also not cheap to run. They need to be installed properly with very good insulation otherwise they do not work efficiently. Currently there is a supply shortage of both heat pumps and qualified installers.

Alternatively, Infrared is cheap to buy. Around £2K for a 4-bed house and far cheaper to run that gas. The average gas bill is going to be around £2K a year. Infrared heating is less expensive.

Please see below a real example of how cheap Infrared is to install:-

Specification for Infrared heating for a building being converted into 16 Flats. The building is on a High Street with no surrounding land so Heat pumps were not an option.

The converted building will have 10 x 2-bedroom Flats and 6 x 1- bedroom flats in sizes from 70 square metres down to 22 square metres. They will require between 6 and 3 infrared panels with thermostats.

The 2-bedroom flats come out at £1354.11 each.

The 1-bedroom flats come out at £870.88 each.

The total cost for Infrared heating for all the Flats comes to £18036.97 = £1127.31 overall per flat.

Our Heat4All panels work with most of the popular systems and thermostats, including those with tamper-proof controls for properties where heating is included.

Even heat distribution using Infrared Heating

Even heat distribution with InfraredAs can be seen on the thermal image on the left, the Heat4All infrared heaters achieve an even distribution of heat over the entire surface of the heating panel *, which, together with the other unique properties of our infrared heaters, results in an exceptionally high degree of radiation efficiency.
